Horseback Riding

When you find yourself in Cowboy Country, it's best to act like it. Spend a day horseback riding through some of the most beautiful landscapes Wyoming has to offer.

Mill Iron Ranch

Escape to a true dude ranch setting, just south of Jackson. Mill Iron Ranch offers two-hour, half-day and full-day guided mountain trail rides with breakfast, lunch or Chancy's famous steak dinner available. Join the cowboys for a day on the trails and then an evening of cowboy camaraderie.

Heart Six Ranch

One of Jackson's most beautiful guest ranches, Heart Six has been around since the early 1900s. Those who enjoy its beauty year-round invite you to come experience a guided horseback ride into Bridger-Teton Wilderness. Two-hour, half-day or full-day trips are available. Or for an extended mountain aventure, book a three-day plus guided pack/fishing trip. Excellent horses and wranglers take you streamside or into the backcountry.

Hidden Basin Outfitters

Located 16 miles from downtown Jackson Hole, with pick up service provided, Hidden Basin Outfitters offers trips from half-day to overnight. Camp in tents with cots, sleeping bags and hot showers, among the abundant wildlife of the Bridger Teton National Forest. Guests have the option of a steak dinner and/or lunch.

Goosewing Ranch

Located deep in the Gros Ventre River Valley, Goosewing Ranch began as a working ranch and has since become an isolated retreat for those looking for a pristine, secluded Wyoming wilderness experience. During the summer months, Goosewing offers a variety of horseback rides for every ability level, from beginner to advanced. Rides are lead by experienced wranglers and groups are kept small. Lunch is included on the trail.
